Who We Are

LWREA, a service oriented non-profit organization, welcomes all retired educational field employees including staff, teachers, and administrators with 5 or more years of service. Our organization includes members from all states and districts.

Florida Retired Educators Association

FREA is divided into 10 districts.  There are 10 district chairs and a state board that oversees all state-wide issues and activities. Within each district are units which are comprised of one or two counties. Each unit has a president and board members.

LWREA is a unit located in "District 2" which includes the counties of: Gulf, Franklin, Gadsden, Wakulla, Leon and Jefferson.
